Freeze protection and process temperature maintenance application

 

ESCRIPTION
The UFM self-regulating heating cables provide the solution to freeze protection and process temperature on pipe, tank and valves applications. The UFM heating cables maintain process temperatures up to 225ºF(110ºC) and can withstand intermittent exposure to temperatures up to 275ºF(135ºC).
     The UFM can adjust the heating output in a self-regulating way depending on the change of the ambient temperature. If the ambient temperature rises, the power output of the heating cable is reduced. oppositely, the power output of the heating cable will increased when the ambient temperature decreased. This self-limiting property prevents overheating even when the heating cable overlapped.

FEATURES
•Automatically adjust the heat output in response to increasing or decreasing the ambient temperature around the heating cable
•Easy to install, can be cut to any length (up to max circuit length) required on site with no wasted cable
•No overheat or burnout even when wrapped over itself (overlapped).
